Everyone gets angry sometimes. Counseling can help when anger feels hard to control, shows up more often than you'd like, or starts to hurt the people and relationships that matter most.
What We Work On Together
Understanding triggers. Your therapist helps you notice the situations, thoughts, and stresses that tend to set off anger, so you can see it coming sooner.
Building coping skills. Sessions focus on practical ways to slow down, calm your body, and respond instead of react. Our therapists draw on approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, depending on what fits you.
Repairing relationships. Anger often spills over at home, at work, or at school. Counseling can help you communicate more clearly, handle conflict with less heat, and rebuild trust with the people around you.
For Individuals, Adults, and Teens
We see adults individually, and we also work with teens who are struggling with frustration, outbursts, or conflict at home or school. When it helps, family members can be part of the conversation. Meet our therapists on our staff page.
